We came across this well-rated restaurant, Dozo , for our 2nd year anniversary dinner. It's a Japanese-French fusion restaurant located at Valley Point Shopping Center along River Valley Road. We ordered their set menu. The food tasted really delicious, and their service was excellent. Okay, photos time now, nothing explains better than photos :) Welcome drink: Fruity ice blend.. Really refreshing and a good start for the dinner.. Sooo delicious starter platter: Smoked salmon, scallop, foie gras (from left) Tuna with crab meat.. Sashimi Platter Stewed beef tendon with puff pastry.. the beef was tender and the pastry was crispy.. nice combi.. Gratin escargots with Yuzu butter.. Yummy.. Crab Bisque.. My boyfriend and I saw an advertisement that there's a wedding show at Marina Square and we decided to take a look. We didn't have any intention of signing a wedding package since we had not started on our bridal shop hunt and had not consulted our friends on the price, bargains and what should be included.. So we actually know nuts about bridal shops and the packages when we went to the wedding show.. We were just about to walk nearer to the wedding show when an uncle approached us and brought us to "The Feline Bridal" booth.. Then the sales person, Sally, showed us many samples of pre-wedding photos and photos of bridal gowns.. We dun even have any idea what kind of pre-wedding photo shoots we wanted or what kind of gowns I wanted.. We were just randomly browsing the photos when Sally started telling us that she would give us a super deal.. S$3,800 bridal package includes: - ROM bride's tea dress and groom's jacket; - ROM bride's make up and hair...

We dun really like the experience at Hong Kong . First of all, hotels were super expensive in Hong Kong. Maybe we chose the wrong time to go. We went during the New Year week, and we paid S$80+ per night for a super tiny guesthouse with only a bed and a super small toilet which squeeze the toilet bowl and the tiny washing basin so near to each other that I could sit on the toilet bowl and wash my hands at the same time. Needless to say, we could hardly bath. Not to mention that the toilet door in our room was spoiled. Our miserable room The miserable toilet. Next, the service standard at Hong Kong was quite bad, regardless of whether it's a dim sum restaurant or cafe, or shops selling shoes, clothes etc. Thirdly, it was as crowded or even more crowded than Singapore -.-''' We only enjoyed the cooling weather and the food in HK. We purposely went to Vivocity on Saturday afternoon to enjoy the dim sum discount at 黑社会 (Not the mafia la, it's a restaurant).. From Monday to Saturday, between 230pm to 5pm, 30% discount on dim sum. And we ordered this super yummy 流沙包.. Looking at the picture makes me drool... slurp slurp!

Yeah! An update to our second application of BTO flat. We got our BTO at Seng Kang! With a lucky queue number: 80. Huat ah! We're going to HDB to pay the deposit today.. Getting poorer.. Woohoo..!

Finally, our last stop.. San Francisco .. We didn't really have a very detailed itinerary or highlights of places to go in San Francisco. Mainly just walking around the city, shopping, the Golden Gate Bridge and maybe a cruise around the bay. After we checked in our hotel, it's already evening and we took a walk around the area. While walking along the streets, we saw many trams. It's cute and it makes the city more interesting. My boyfriend loves trams, and he's wondering why are there no tram service in Singapore -.- The next day, we finally got the chance to take the tram to Fisherman's Wharf. So squeezy in the tram -.- After around 20 minutes, we arrived at Fisherman's Wharf and we bought the Wharfpass . It's a great deal and it includes most of the must-do activities at San Francisco.
