The Salon I Keep Returning to: Studio M KSL Hair Salon @ KSL City Mall

It's been a while since I crossed the straits to pamper myself at JB. Whenever I'm in JB and want to change my hairstyle or give my hair some well deserved treatment, Studio M is always the first salon that comes to my mind. I have visited Studio M @ KSL City Mall (previously known as Govin Hair) many times as I love the great service and friendly staff there. Price wise, it's definitely super value as you are getting top notch service and best quality products such as Mucota or Oway on your precious hair.

As a person who always want good deals, I have researched before and hey, there's no way I can find that kind of price for treatments, perm, rebond or hair color using top quality products such as Mucota or Oway in Singapore!

Look at my lifeless hair with the uneven hair color. It's time to go Studio M hair salon to pamper my hair and give it a new look!

Studio M is located at ground floor of KSL City Mall, beside Sasa.

My hair stylist was Ben. I'm very lousy when it comes to how to style my hair and I'm also very indecisive on what to do for my hair. I only knew I needed a new look and a style that's easy to manage.

Ben was very patient, he took note of what I said and provided sound advice. My hair ends have been bleached before and hence, it's quite dry. He recommended cutting away the damage part of my hair and provided a few possible ways that I could change my hair style. He's patient in explaining the outcome of each style and let me decide what I like best.

After some discussion, Ben gave me a hair cut, he assured me that a nice haircut with some layers will be able to change my hair shape and create a new feel. Immediately after the cut, woah! I like the hair style! My hair is very thin and flat, but with this hair cut, it has a lot more volume and is lively.

After the hair cut, it's time to color my hair. Again I couldn't decide the hair color and asked Ben for opinion. I didn't want a hair color that's too dark but I didn't want to bleach my hair. He suggested a copper rose color that does not need bleaching.

I usually cannot stand the smell of ammonia as it gives me a headache and causes my scalp to feel itchy. He recommended Mucota hair color. There was no ammonia smell and I don't feel any giddiness or itchiness. After I left,  my hubby said 'wow, your hair don't have that usual weird salon smell.' Hahaha. Ya, to a guy who don't know much about hair and stuff, he can only describe that as weird salon smell LOL.

I loved the hair wash as well! I hate it when I go to some salon and my hair was treated roughly. But the hair wash at Studio M was gentle and comfortable with great massage. The shampoo and hair mask smelt great too!

Oh, they also serve hot drinks such as Milo and a variety of flower tea.

After the wash, woah! I like the hair color! They helped to style my hair with some waves too. Woo! Nice! After seeing this, I might want to do a perm next time haha.

A few days have past and my hair is still easily manageable. Anyhow blow dry also nice hahaha. Compare this to my before salon visit photo above, this hair cut makes the top part of my hair more voluminous and hides my balding hairline hee. It's so smooth and flowy, it even has a bit of those natural curls at the end which I like! Very suitable for someone like me who doesn't know how to style my hair.
